ABOUT THE CHEF
Rosalia and Nicola Culliano, my great grandparents, arrived from Sicily on Ellis Island, New York in 1901. “Ma,” as I called her, blessed me with a love of cooking. She taught me at a young age how to make her Sunday Gravy, the Sicilian favorite that was on our family table every Sunday. I’ve been making it her way for 57 years. I honor my Ma by sharing her Sunday Gravy with you.
